It's our joy to share with you what the Lord is doing through us here at the Nakuru United Methodist Church. Nakuru United Methodist Church
This church had very humble beginning in June 2003, when a few people, led by Rev. Josam Kariuki, began meeting under a tree. Convinced that God had given him a vision, Rev. Josam knew that God would make provision. God did provide and the membership is now over 250 people. The church has its own building, which not only houses the sanctuary, but also a nursery school for orphans and poor children and women’s empowerment training center. Rev. Josam describes his ministry as a practical ministry, reaching out to the community, while at the same time bringing people to Christ. The church sponsors several on going projects, and Rev. Josam has a vision of ways to meet other critical needs in the community. He welcomes partnerships and collaboration to serve hand in hand with Nakuru United Methodist Church in one of the following noble community project(s):-
1 Wesley Mission Medical Clinic,
2 Street Children/Orphans Boarding School project,
3 Nakuru UMC Pre- School,
4 Hope Children’s Home,
5 Women’s Empowerment Center and Youth’s Computer Training,
6 Micro finance Program,
7 Church Construction ,
8 Goat Project,
9 Orphans Girls Sponsorship .

The mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by proclaiming the good news of God's grace and thus seeking the fulfillment of God's reign and realm in the world.
